Petrus searches the rubble of the docks and manages to find an undamaged oil lamp and some matches. He lights it and enters the ship. The tear in the hull leads into a large room filled with crates. The crates have all been gathered at the fore-end of the room. There is a ladder that leads up.

Petrus shakes quite heavily now, finally realizing that he is on a boat. He drops the lantern which promptly spreads flaming oil about. Petrus panics in the now unsteady light, and clambors up the ladder.

The room the ladder leads to would be pitch black if not for the fire shining up below. Still, Petrus cannot see anything but the floor and the ceiling for several meters before it fades into darkness. The floor seems to be oddly discolored.

Petrus is now in the dark, on a... a... BOAT. He starts to feel faint, then something snaps. Petrus begins gibbering like a madman, running around before slipping and falling. He lands on his hand and hears a loud *SNAP*. Then he crawls around on the floor, feeling in every dark corner he can get his hands in.

Petrus crawls around and almost immediately slices his hands open on some small sharp objects, possibly broken glass. This is confirmed by the tinkling noise when he jerks back, and sends pieces of it skittering around.

Petrus screams in pain and begins rolling around. This only exacerbates the problem, covering him in small cuts. He screams some more, and drags himself back towards the stairs. He falls down then, hearing another loud snap. With great pain and much screaming, he forces himself standing, only to realize he is now ablaze. He runs out through the hole in the side of the ship, screaming yet more.

He begins rolling around in the glass, only to smack his head into something very hard. He falls unconscious for a while. When he awakens, everything is dark, and his hands have stopped bleeding.
HP: 8/10, head injury, blood loss

Petrus feels around, trying to get his bearings.

Careful of the glass this time, he finds that he has hit his head on some sort of table which is bolted to the floor. Reaching on top of it to stand up, he feels something rubbery, rounded, and covered in some sort of slime.

Poke, Prod, and utilize all other senses to determine the nature of the rubbery, rounded, slimy object.

Petrus examines it more closely. It seems to have some sort of metal shaft in the middle, and then it branches out into 5 smaller sections on one end. He has a bad feeling, when suddenly a man with a lantern comes up from below, illuminating the fore-arm Petrus is holding, and the rest of the room. There are dozens of other tables like the one Petrus found. They are paired off. Human corpses, seemingly shredded apart and/or eaten while they were strapped down, lie on several tables, none of which are paired. Empty shelves line the walls, with piles of broken glass and strange metal tools around them. The floor is stained with bodily fluids. There are several metal drums labeled "Water" lying around, one of them leaking.

Petrus grabs the Forearm, yanks on it, then tosses it at this new visitor. He is very startled.

The fore-arm, not known for being the best missile, misses completely.
"HEY! What the hell are you doing?! And just who are you anyways?"

"Who are YOU to ask me who I AM?!" Petrus points and tries to convey the sense that he is dissapointed with this person.

"I am with the watch." He says as he climbs all the way up to reveal his uniform. "Now who are you and what are you doing in here?"
