Name: LEE/Richard
Class: Wandering fighter
Appearance: LEE has short black hair and brown eyes. Tattooed on the back of his neck is the number '337' upside-down and in black. He has pale skin and is fairly scrawny, almost looking emaciated. He wears baggy burlap pants, brown leather boots, and a white wool shirt. Attached to his black leather belt is a pocket watch. He has a grim look about his face and his gestures appear awkward. He speaks with a slight verbal tick. Often seen winding up his watch. While the weapons are destroyable, re-summoning them will repair them.
Weapon: Arsenal Watch
The Arsenal Watch will transform into one of twelve weapons depending on the hour of day it is activated. Once summoned, these weapons will retain their form until LEE/Richard dismisses them or becomes unconcious, or the watch winds down. If he summons a weapon at 1:50, he can dismiss it at 2:00, then re-summon it to gain the 2:00 weapon. The watch(in its non weapon form) can only be held by LEE/Richard.
1:00- Spear- The spear is 5 feet long with an 8 inch steel tip resembling the hand on a clock. Where the silver shaft meets the hand, there is a gear which allows the tip to change its direction within 180 degrees as LEE/Richard wills it.
2:00- Chain whip- A brass handle bound with a leather grip. Where the chain(Silver) extends from it, there is a gear which makes the chains length adjustable(no maximum length). At the end of the chain is a 10 kg weight made of gold.
3:00- Claws- The claws, made of steel, have three points to them, and resemble the letter "E". Held by putting two fingers on either side of the center prong, under two springy bands of brass. The prongs resemble the hands on a clock.
4:00- Scythe- A scythe with a steel blade and shaft, bound with leather grip. Where the blade meets the shaft, there is a gear which allows the blade to pivot.
5:00- Sickles- Two steel sickle with leather grips and loops of leather on the hilt. Where the blade meets the handle, there is a gear which allows the blade to pivot.
6:00- Hooks- Each hook has a steel blade on one end and a silver spike on the other. The blade extend roughly 14 inches, and then curves back on itself with the blade inside. There is a brass hand guard. At one end of the handle, there is a gear which can smoothly swap the bladed and spiked end.
7:00- Tonfa- Steel tonfa with no grip. Along the outside are 3 gears made of silver for inflicting extra damage when grazing an enemy. The gears spin as LEE/Richard wills them.
8:00- Gear chakram- Two chakram, bladed on the outside, leather bound on the inside. One is made of steel, the other silver. They constantly spin in opposite directions and can spin around each other edge to edge. When thrown, they will always come back to each other. Roughly 1 foot in diameter.
9:00- Long axe- A steel shaft with a leather grip, roughly 41 inches long. At the end on one side is a long steel blade which has a pointed tip giving it the ability to stab and slash. On the opposite side is a silver spike resembling a clock hand. Between the two is a gear allowing them both to pivot.
10:00- Sword and shield- Both are made of steel. The sword lacks a hand guard, but in its place is a gear which allows the 2 foot blade to switch from one end of the handle to the other. The shield is a giant gear which spins at LEE/Richard's will to deflect blows. Hovers around the left fore-arm, as though it was actually being held.
11:00- Drill staff- A 6 foot long staff with two conic gears at each end. One gear is made of silver, the other of steel. The shaft, which has a separation point, is made of brass. The two gears always spin in opposite directions.
12:00- Chained blades- Two steel swords with gears opposite the 30 inch blade. Between the gears is a steel chain of adjustable length. The length can be adjusted to zero, leaving the swords hilt to hilt and able to be separated.
Fighting style:
LEE: LEE tends to try and avoid fights when he can, but once in battle does not try to run. When he believes that he is headed for a fight, he will begin winding up his watch as much as possible. He will try to use the clock-work mechanisms in his weapons to the fullest rather than relying on brute strength. Moves evasively and tries to disarm his opponent.
Richard: When the LEE gets too stressed, Richard will take over. He is stronger and faster than LEE, but also mentally unstable. His first priority is to kill. First whatever is threatening him, then whatever isn't. He uses the clock-work mechanisms of the weapons as an after thought, but is more skilled in their raw usage than LEE. As the situation continues to escalate, he begins to ignore his own well being.
Abilities:
Summon weapon- This allows LEE/Richard to transform the arsenal watch.
Clockwork- This allows LEE/Richard to mentally control the clock work mechanisms in the weapons.
Berserk- When Richard becomes unstable, he becomes stronger and ignores pain.
Items: A ring with a strange symbol on it.
History:
What LEE knows:
LEE's first memory is waking up in a dungeon cell of some sort, hanging upside-down. The walls were rough stone, slightly damp. The door was rusty iron and ajar. On his finger was a strange ring. What made it most strange was that he wore nothing else aside from it. Below him against the wall was the lock to the chains that held him up. There was a key in it. Reaching out, him turned the key and fell to the ground. He laid there for a while until he felt like he could walk, and got to his feet. Outside the cell was a larger room, with many more cells, all empty. There were chairs and a large table in the room, turned over and mostly broken. The only exit was up a flight of stairs. Part way up was a landing with two doors. Through one of them was a bedroom. He rummaged through the dresser and clothed himself. He walked over to the mirror on the wall. Looking into it, he saw a bit of red creeping around from the back of his neck. Not being able to see it well with just one mirror, he shattered it and used two shards to see what it was. What he saw was "LEE" written in black. As he couldn't remember his name, he decided that must be it. As he was about to leave, he noticed a pocket watch on the table. He picked it up and suddenly withdrew his hand and he felt a burst of heat. Slowly he reached back for it, and picked it up. It now felt smooth and cool. He wound it up and watched the hands move around perfectly. Attaching it to his belt, he exited the room and found his way out, an exit leading into a small cave in the middle of some plains.
LEE wandered for a while, unsure of where to go, until he found a river. He realized that he was starving and couldn't remember when he last drank. He took gulps of the cool water, and then decided he would try and catch some of the carp he had seen. He wasn't quite sure how he knew they were carp, but it gave him a feeling of nostalgia. He looked around to see if there was something he might use to attack the fish. At that moment his hand unconciously reached for the watch, as though following a siren's call. He held it out and it melted and stretched until it became two claws. He was confused, but decided not to question it. Partly because he didn't want to tempt fate, partly because he was just hungry. When he finished fishing, the watch returned to its normal state. He gathered some dry wood from nearby trees and built a fire over which he cooked the fish. Then he decided to experiment with the watch. He held it out and willed it to become the claws again. It once again distorted and reshaped, only this time it was a scythe. He wondered if it might randomly transform. He returned it and re-summoned it several times, but each time it was the scythe. Giving up, he returned it to its normal state and decided to sleep, despite the time of day.
He woke up to find a face only inches away from his. The bandit flinched and fell backwards to the laughter of his companions.
"Tol' ye 'e were alive! Dinnit I say 'at Joe?"
"Yeah yeah now shut it!"
"So what do we do's wit 'im, eh?"
"He don look rich or nuffin!"
"Not enough meat on 'im to eat either"
"Lets just make 'im our slave! 'At'll give 'im some meat, and give us less work!"
LEE slowly reached for his watch. There were 4 of them, but he didn't see any other way out. He willed the watch to become a weapon, but it did not respond. He shook it a bit and felt it tick twice, then fall silent. He worked out what the problem might be easily enough and began winding it as fast as he could.
"OY! Wass 'e doin there!"
"'E looks to be windin 'is watch."
"Bloody hell! Whats going on!"
The hands on the watch spun rapidly until they stopped at 12:09. LEE willed it to become a weapon, and it shifted until it took the form of the chain swords. At first, he wasn't entirely sure how to use them, but as he thought, ideas poured into him, as though the watch was telling him how to use it. He jumped to his feet and threw out one of the blades towards a bandit. It sank into his upper arm, causing him to drop his weapon as he clutched at the wound. The other bandits were alerted to him now. He drew the blade back in and then swung it back out, lodging in one bandit's axe. He reeled it in, disarming the bandit and leaving his axe in the head of his companion as it flew out of his hand. A bandit lunged at him. LEE tried to hold up the blades in defense, but the club hit him in the head, sending him to the ground. The bandit began kicking him, in the head and stomach brutally. LEE's world faded. Suddenly, the bandit's leg was grabbed, and he was pushed off blanace, falling over. The injured man got to his feet, and paralyzed the bandits with an ice cold stare, completely unlike his former self.
"MY NAME..." He said, brandishing the twin swords, "is Richard!"
Before the bandits could react, he had them skewered on his blades. The last one came up from behind, raising his club. Richard whirled around, cutting huge gashes in the bandits where he ripped out the blades. With one blade, he lopped off the bandit's fore arm. With the other, he slashed the bandit across the eyes. The bandit fell to the ground, sobbing and beggin this daemon for mercy. He heard a creul chuckle in response, and screamed as his flesh was removed bit by bit.
