Religion Creation System

We decided to publicize this if you guys wanted to have fun with it.

Fill this out and voila, just about everything we need to know about a religion.


Deity: God(s) Worshipped

Internal Organization: (3 high priests, 1 supreme priests, lower ranks etc. etc. how priests are ranked and how they defer. Any special restrictions on who can be what ranks should be listed here.)

Sacrifices Accepted: (Time, money, blood, animal life, human life. Where do they draw the line?)

Holy Sites: Normal churches don't get listed. we're talking huge testaments ot the faith or place that are particularly holy. The seat of the religion should be listed here as well as the country it's in (real world example: The Vatican, Vatican City, Italy.)

Influences: (A list of countries the religion is significantly present in and how much leverage it has in that country (can command the king, can pressure the king, can lobby the king, can ask, can beg, is hated, is loved, and all applies to both the aristocracy and the lay peoples))

Policies: What they forbid, what they encourage, what their relations with other relgions are, and what they expect from their followers

Popularity: How prevalent this religion is.

Financial: How rich/poor is the church as a whole?
