Apprentice Witch:
When girls wanted to study magic, but could not attend school lessons just to be qualifed enough, there was only the possibility of learning magic through the chaotical teaching of wandering witches. Pupils of those were taught different spells and masteries varying from witch to witch, be it some transformation spell or a curse or a spell for something handy. Generally witches only taught magic to girls who were at least six years old, but this varied. As there was absolutely no system that they used, no real "witch schools" ever existed.
Witch:
Its impossible to estimate when those women started to appear in myths and other folklore, generally in those of simple peasants. Witches are mostly hermits, altrough some hide amongst the population of villages to avoid too much attention. Witches were generally hated by people. Peasants believed that witches were evil sorcerreses who stole their life force, cursed their family and wanted to sacrifice whathever good to the evil. This prejudice has gone through many ages and if a witch was discovered and people were able to defeat her, she was either sent to higher judical system and then transported to a paladin order for execution or imprisoment, or was just burned by the mass of senselessly enraged peasants. Of course the hate wasn't without a reason. Many witches deserved this fate as they practiced ill magic for their own sake. Many other witches are healers, alchemists and even local good-doers. Althrough witches do not have an active commune, they are highly talkative to each other and often exchange spells, rumors and general gossip. Once a year, it is said that witches gather somewhere in a great meeting, discussing the events of the last year, spell theories and general gossip again. They are all women after all.
Morganna[unique]:
Known from scary tales, Morganna is told to have tremendous power, capable of destroying landscapes and awakening terrible beasts from across the abyss and even further. In truth, she is just an ancient witch who has lived through the centuries by stealing the age of young women as well as their beauty. Slowly, the forest around her withered and turned ...evil. Local people avoid this forest as they all know well about Morganna who prefers to have her fun with those unfortunate to trespass the ground to her home. Althrough not all-that-powerfull, Morganna is fairly one of mightiest witches that ever walked the land althrough when she is known in the surroundings and people tell tales about her in nearby countries, people in far-away lands have only rarely heard of her due to her almost remote life style, except for her partake in the Elivian War.
Infected:
The Necropyre council was tired of the declining number of reanimated reinforcements. The magic of the liches, necromancers and even of nosferatus was just not enough to expand their lands further, where massive population of peasants of Willowstate could add a great bulk to their army and allow them to ravage through the sieged country. The council stated the need for a new method of reanimate. Something autonomical. Finnaly, after months of gathering, experimenting, brewing, chanting and even more experimenting, the mighty Plague was made. The plague, a curse in its nature, would start a chain reaction that could bring many soldiers down. Even more! Those raised by the plague had an abnormal bloodlust and crawling for human flesh (A specifical effect of the curse that forced its spread).
Zombi:
A year or later after the fall of Willowstate the first changes in the infected were noticed. Long time without food drew those insane. Their crawl for flesh not fulfilled as there were no human to eat. It became a struggle to keep those berserker infected under control and keep them from attacking anything living on a sight. Even worse, some of those has been consumed by the curse so much that they started to devour fellow undead instead of following commands. Those infected were called zombi and viewed by necromancers as a unwanted way to reach maximal attack power. Currently 1/4 of all Zombi are feral, mostly in Willowstate ruins. The cause is that other Zombie were changed to keep the need for flesh under control, which partially removed the curse. The feral Zombi hovewer, by attacking other undead also polluted those with the curse, making feral zombie something like a Zombie for Zombie o.O.
Kar Nell/Death Sickle[unique]:
Magicians reanimated as skeletons often have enough spiritual or arcane power to keep their soul intact. They are still bound on the mind of the stronger necromancer/lich (They always are, as necromancers only raise those with weaker mind) and this is how the hiearhy in the great undead army of Kohorth is buit. A problem is only, infected almost never have any sapienty and so only a single Zombi Lich called Death Sickle is known. In his life he was Kar Nell, a powerfull Archimage in the service of Ledowar Willow, king of Willowstate. He was actually prepared to fight off undead, he has burned or toasted their ass for five years already! But this time it was different. Walking Dead was still underestimated as a slow and dumb mob, easy to trick so noone expected an army of fierce corpses rushing towards the soldiers and ripping them apart. The infected won the battle, Kar Nell being one of them now, animated by Nechronus himself who offered him to choose his newborn name - Death Sickle. From now on he was first Zombi who ever managed to supress the inner curse and use magic. Following the fight versus the Star paladin Cross, he was grossly mutilated, but again animated to undeath with parts of him replaced and powered.
Initiand:
Recruits of S.G. of Dark-Elven City of Kyril. They receive gun training and guns and therefore are S.G.'s agents. Normally they form 'cleaning crews', assault teams or are enlisted into military while acting as S.G.'s spies. The normal 'sight norm' of them must be 0. If its not 0, they also receive glasses to correct the sight norm. Further those agents are free to be guards, shopkeepers, bounty hunters and etc, etc, etc, but their destiny is always bound to S.G. as it always pulls the strings behind almost every secret operation in the lands of dark elves.
Red Coats:
Red Coats are the elite of S.G. agents. They do not only are better skilled but also have better guns and the signature red coats on them. Normally an Initiand is promoted to a red coat after many years of service or if he proves that his skills surpass those of normal agents. S.G. uses red coats as assassins, diplomats, commanders and even politicans. S.G. treasures those agents and makes sure that they dont do any dirty job, unless if its really urgent.
Pvt. Myers[unique]:
A unique soldier amongst many, gifted genius, talented, call him what you want. He is a type of people who make legends out of themselves with work and skill united. Myers started as a initiand in age of 16 and was almost rejected, until he proved that he is worth recruiting. Over years of training it was noticed that he easily surpassed many Red Coats in both accuracy and dexterity with the natural perfect sight norm of 0. After being promoted to a red coat his career seemed to rapidly go up, but he decided that he was wasting his time with the S.G. and went AWOL. Having a high bounty on his head from the S.G. he still is hired by many who want to use his services. His weapon of choice is not a barrel-gun but rather an oversized Gunman which can blow pretty large holes in almost anything. Myers is the only person that is known to survive and even repel Wyöko Drayk in a fair fight.
Dark Elf Soldier:
Recruited at the age of 18, those fighters value agility over brutal strenght and fight for their country equiped with katars. They build the basic infantry of the Dark-Elven kingdom, often even as cannon fodder.
Dark Elf Elite:
If one of Dark-Elven soldiers survives enough battles without getting killed, crippled or involved in some affairs, he may be promoted to Elite status. Elites are seen with respect in eyes of civilinas and other soldiers alike. Along with fame, better rewards, weapons and armor, Elites are often considered a higher status of citizen, right under the royality.
Prince Callazar[unique]:
Prince Callazar of the royal family ascended the throne at the age of 16 when his father died from assassination. It was not unusal that something like that happened, the royal family had alot of enemies who wished to seize the power if the king and his followers were to disappear. Because of that the prince was taught martial arts and swordsmanship from his early baby steps on to prevent the kingdom losing its only rightful reigner if the king was to die. Not long after the prince took over the position of his father he started a grand campaing to eradicate any force which was after his hide. Spies were sent, slits were cut through and some people mysteriously disappeared in the night - work of S.G. - Secret Guild, established by the prince. This way, by spilling blood and spreading terror amongst the criminals and those who wanted him dead, he prevented most of future assassination attempts and showed himself as a worthy king who rules the kingdom with iron fist and a spy in every corner.
