Battle Log

I suggest creation of an Battle Log that writes down scores of every fight in respecting order as well as the whole history.

Like that:

Acria fought versus Eszrah at the Empire Castle.
Battle ended in Acria disappearing in an explosion and Eszrah being found heavily wounded by villagers.
Meanwhile That char and This char united making their way to BlaBlaBla City to warn WTF king about EVIL player's plan to steal all the cakes.

This way we would be able to write down the whole ro lore updating it every time a fight is started/ended.

Not a bad idea. We could make it a sticky and it would provide a good way for people to quickly skim over details. I think it would need an official format though.

Krasht fought Mastersword in the remains of a Garrison fortress that Krasht had just destroyed.
Battle ended when Alex used his cowardly magics in a pathetic attempt to hurt Krasht.
Afterwards, Alex made a pathetic army of southling weaklings.
Meanwhile, Krasht went off to look for something to kill.

In Swords eyes its: Master Sword encountered Krasht the berserker in the Burning Garrison Krasht destroyed before.
Getting minor injuries Sword used an devastating Attack to end the battle setting off to new target. Krasht survived andhis current whereabouts are unknown.
Sword starts to create an army of posessed villagers for an unknown mission.
Meanwhile Krasht goes on in his neverending quest to kill something.

A)what about non-cannon fights?
B) Fight 1 takes place at (in game)time 0, Fight 2 takes place 1 (in game) week later. Because fight 1 was a five way brawl and fight 2 was a 2 man duel, We finish fight 2 before fight 1 (in real-time). What now? do we simply wait for fight 1 to conclude? do we put fight 2 down first then whoever put it in edits it to add fight 1 before it? Timeline could get meesy here.
Also: Already finished fights (from before I joined) what do we do with them?

Run and Hide?

Well, thats why we need a good writer to interprete it right way. Thats why its definitely not gonna be me.

Bronkor and myself have established ourselves as good writers (Or so I believe and what I can gather from the attitudes of others). We can handle this. Also, the battle log is an excellent idea. However, is it a log like:

So and so battled

It ended with char1 doing this, char2 doing this... etc.


Or is it like this:

And so they met at last, bewildered with one another, and either could sense the power within the other. After a slight pause, they reacted nearly on impulse, driven to destroy one another....


Meaning, actual logs, or story logs?

Well i mean the actual lof of the whole history of our fighting and the story as there also will be important events. This will also prevent plot holes.

Not if you follow it by Japanese soap opera rules ;/

Me and chaos (probably me if chaos doesn't want to put in the effort) will maybe try and make a proper synopsis of the events so far. Sound good chaos? Oh and hi Tuv, glad we found you.

Well I still don't know whether to detail it or just plain log it.

Hell I'd do both just for the sake of completeness.

Not only does this help iron out plot holes, like who fought who and when, but it also helps keep this interesting and organized. Nice idea Alex its got my vote.

And if necessary I'll volunteer myself to do it if need be.

Which reminds me. For the arena assesment fights, are those cannon? also are the Arena events (like the, eventually, upcoming Sazil event) cannon?

I would recommend you make the event canon(organizing all of us? It's a lot of work not to be) and allow the participants to decide if their assessment was canon or not on an individual basis.

They would naturally only be canon.

As for whether or not assessment fights are canon, I've been over it numerous times, but I'll make an official topic in the Arena Battle section, for the sake of things. Also, I'll create an Arena Lore section for the logs to be posted.
