Power Scale

Alright I was wondering how this was going to work when it came to NPC's. Heph has a following of somewhat useful followers and yet at the same time someone like Sword or Krasht could supposedly wipe out an entire garrison of them. Conflict in the making?

well it depends on the number of npcs.....
i mean common sense would tell us that it could be either like 1 lower standard arena character npc.
or like 200 much much weaker npcs.
it comes down to how fast u can kill it and how many there is to kill.

The point is not using NPCs, unless your character is specifically made to use NPCs. No one's character to date, except for the Middle/Final form of Acria, is specially made to use multiple NPCs.

Does Acria get EXTREMELY fat during her second form, then midgetized and lacking angles in the final?

Xootie, you'd use up practically all your orbs to do that. And no, Doom, she isn't Frieza. I meant as in when she completes the staff then the Scythe

For the record if certain things happen to Torin, to Remel and to Cael then it's entirely possible that Cael and Torin would become a two person team. (Cael would change significantly in battle style, not sure about strength).
However since one of these things happen to include Torin at least partially succeeding and killing/arranging the death of at least one elemental lord its not too likely...

torin has vendetta against ELs? o.o plus i doubt u could kill them absorb them probably but kill no.....

Ok heres a Power Scale for NPC I've been tooling around with -

Minion: Lowest level, basically cannon fodder/meaty shield, only a threat in large numbers, usable by everyone
Henchmen: Medium level, skilled warriors but not overtly special, usable by everyone
Right Hand Man: High level, "I can't believe its not an Arena Character" level, on par with or greater then an arena character, usable with creator's permission only
Master Mind: Uber level, god-like character or actually god character, usable by RP council members or appointees only.

The Alar'viel are on the henchmen level, and Rarith (Captain of the Alar'viel) is just beneath Right Hand Man level.

winion is between minion and henchmen

Winion should only be controlled by Xootie, though.

Remel is a god(albeit weaker than usual) so Master level
Cael is stronger than Torin so Right Hand level...despite the fact that he's not anyone's right hand...

Yes there are exceptions to this rule, as is the case with non combat npc which are almost exclusively controlled by the creator.

Although if you have a request for a specific NPC to be made "Creator control-only" then feel free to bring it to a council members attention.

And BI the NPC system was made to emulate ranks associated with spy villains. I don't know why I put it like that it just came to me.

Slave: Weakest

Lackey: Weak

Henchman: Medium

Elite: Strong

Master: Strongest

Interesting proposal Crom, although I'm partial to my system myself, then again I am overtly biased.

I'm leaning towards Midgets one still.

Gwydios is somewhere between Right-hand and Master-mind.

What about bosses?

Those are supposed to be the master-mind level guys, I'd think.

Hmmmmm, so do you guys have any mastermind-leveled bosses for future events. (I speak about events after the all-in battle)

In most cases they will either be other characters we make (say perhaps my Belial the Wolf, or any of a number of Chaos' characters), or just super powerful versions of the admins current characters.

What about Sota?

Sota hasn't been very involved lately, and he wouldn't be involved with the arena anyway. He's been stuck in the real world lately with uni and whatnot.

Uni...if that means "college" then he's either an architect major, an instrumental music major or just a pansy. Other than those two every other major has more free time than you'd think
