The Dark Heresy!

Welcome to the Dark Heresy, a roleplaying game full of danger, mystery, and brutal violence set in the decaying far future of Warhammer 40k. As an acolyte of the Emperor's Inquisition, you will root out threats to mankind. You will engage in combat with deadly witches, combat corrupt heretic, and battle mysterious xenos. You will face the daemonic minions of Chaos, and battle for your very soul. You stand amidst a web of conspiracy and betrayal, for the biggest threat you face may be your fellow man, for the human soul is a fertile ground for corruption. It is your duty to shepherd mankind from the manifold paths of Damnation, with whirring Chainsword and blazing Laspistol if neccesary.

Do not shrink from your noble calling, demanding as it may be. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and these are the darkest times mankind has ever known. It is up to you to stand tall and make a difference.
