Svagema~Entaris

He nods to the weapon and sheathes it, places it gently down and pulls the two stilletoes. He spins them about in his hands to test both his coordination with them since his training with the Stonewood replicas, which he made unweildy on purpose, and the overall balance of the weapons themselves.

Once again he finds that the smith, who's name he never bothered to learn, made them fit Svagema like a glove. Once again, a worker comes to disturb him.
"Svagema sir, there is a guard here to see you about the incident."

Svagema spins and flourishes the stilletoes and sets them firmly across the small of his back in the leather holster he had made from scraps he found around the ranch, one stilleto's hilt facing right and the other left with both glareless handles hardly able to be seen at a glance. He then secured the rapier at his side and wrapped the whip around his waist so as to conceal the holster and still allow the drawing of all weapons unhindered, then walked out to the waiting gaurd. He turned to the worker keeping the gaurdcompany first. "Do you know where the 20ft bullwhip is? I can't find it anywhere..." He asked, hinting that he would like the man to go look for it, then turned to the gaurd. "Yes? Have you found anything?"

"Well, we read your report, and there seem to be some rather unbelievable parts in it. All regarding this 'Stone'. You claim that not only did he wield such an axe, but also survived a spear to the face? I think you're hiding something from me, and I don't like it."

Svagema sighs. "Look, I have no idea HOW he did it, but I was sitting there watching this man swing a giant hatchet around like it weighed no more than a baseball bat..." He furrows his brow for a moment and then has an idea. "Here, come with me..." He turned and led the gaurd to the barn and showed him the cut through beam and gaint gash in the wall. "Y'see? He brought the thing up over his head and it clipped this beam, then smashed into the wall and got stuck there long enough for me to get away..." He states, pleased with himself for not having repaired this peice of irrefutable evidence. "And after watching him do that, I'm really not surprised that a spear would bounce from his face..."

The guard raises an eyebrow.
"Right... And how did you say you managed to survive again?"
The guard clearly doesn't believe Svagema at all.

Svagema only needed the half a second it took for him to blink in order to arrange a new set of events in his head. "Well, he was strong, yes, but he wasn't all too bright and not very fast, y'see? So I just kind of scampered around, avoiding him mostly, until I got about here..." He positioned hismself between the hole where the stone pillar came up to the floor of the loft and the hole in the side of the barn. "I had set up a trap, but I was looking at the ladder instead of behind me and his friend brought him up through the floor wth that pillar of stone, there..." He pointed to the head of the pillar before continuing. "Fortunately, though, he didn't watch his step when he came charging at me and tripped over the coil of rope I was using for the trap and went crashing by me and through the wall there..." He pointed at the wall and the giant hole therein.

The guard looks at the pillar and the loft.
"So, not only did he break through the floor unharmed, but managed to move himself with such force that he crashed through the wall? AND he had a powerful mage ally? Just why would they be after you then? What sort of business have you gotten yourself tied up in?"

Svagema shrugged, looking quite confused himself. "I really have no idea, and they wouldn't tell me, just said they were being paid for it. Dunno who'd pay people like that to off a rancher like me, unless it's happening to the whole Family..." He looked rather nervous for a few moments, then calmed himself. "He used that dirty great axe of his like a battering ram, to take the force of it instead of him. And he was a DAMN BIG MAN!!" He said, starting to become exasperated. He settled with himself that if this gaurd was going to be a complete dumbass any longer, he was going to drop the truth on the man.

The guard snaps his fingers, an impressive feat while wearing gloves.
"I get it! It all makes sense now! The mage must have used his magic on this 'Stone' to make him like that! Sorry for the trouble, but you can understand how hard it is to believe..."
Svagema turns to the door. Sure enough, a worker has appeared once again.
"Pardon me Svagema sir, but I just thought you should know... most of your laborers just quit. What with the threat of returning that everyone heard the man make, they have all fled in fear. There are not enough of us left to run the ranch."
"Well, I can see you have other things to attend to, so I will be on my way."
The guard nods to Svagema and leaves.

For once in his life, Svagema's cool resolve boiled over in rage. "WHHAAATTT?!?!?! They LEFT?! After years of my family's secure jobs and protection from rustlers, theives and brigands, they just LEAVE?!" He punches the dummy which he was standing next to and releases a Sonic Breaker in anger. "Damn it! Not only have they put holes in my barn, but they've put me out of BUSINESS!!!" He spun about and pointed at the worker that had notified him. "You!! Send word to the other Kregonovs! We need to find a solution to this problem immediately, before it begins to effect the supply to the city."

"Right away sir!"
The worker rushes out, pretending not to have seen Svagema make fissures in his stonewood dummy.

Svagema rages for the entire span of the worker's absence, launching powerful blows against the dummy again and again, then doing feirce katas with his stillettos and and violent strikes into a nearby hay bale with the rapier in an attempt to release some of the limitless anger that presently consumed his being. As a Estoruven, the one thing as important as Family was the Kregonov he operated. And now, these two men had destroyed his ability to maintain it.

Something clinks inside the bale of hay. A silver vial falls out of it, and somehow manages to roll to his feet, despite the warped floorboards.

Svagema's frown lessens slightly at the now familiar sight of the vial. He picks it up and examines the decoration for a possible clue as to its origin before pulling the cork and saying "Agility" into th congealing smoke.

As before, Svagmea feels as though he has learned new ways to communicate with his body. The decoration yields no hints as to its origin.

Svagema relaxes as he remembers earlier that morniing during the end of his encounter with Stone and Coda. He clenched his hand and hoped that when the time came, he'd have the power to utterly destroy them both as they have tried to do to him. He then walked back to the house and fixed a sandwich, one's life being inverted makes one hungry.

Svagema makes a sandwich. A damn good sandwich too. As he eats it he idly wonders how much agility plays a role in sandwich making. He finishes it, and stands up to wash his dishes, but manages to knock over his glass in his daydream. It shatters noiselessly against the hardwood floor. He realizes that the clock in the windowsill has also stopped ticking. Everything is silent. Then a single, long note from a violin sounds from outside.

Svagema quickly becomes highly agitated at what seems to be yet another enemy. He walks slowly out to the front porch, left hand resting on the hilt of his rapier. He scowls slightly and looks around for whoever is playing.

He sees no one. However, he takes interest in something far more obvious. The sky is pitch black, yet everything on the ground glows as though a pale light were shining upon it. Everything has lost its color as well. A powerful yet silent wind whips up blades of grass and shakes trees violently. Another note from the violin sounds. It seems to be coming from the forest nearby.

Svagena snarls to himself and adjusts the whip at his side opposite his rapier. He then walks carefully to the edge of the forest.

Deep within the forest he sees a large object, glowing white in the darkness. It beckons to him with a mysterious allure. His feet move on their own, and he soon finds himself before a large mansion. The type of mansion reserved for the upper class in the capitol. It has a wide porch with decorated pillars supporting the second floor above it. Two beautiful double doors set with engraved glass are set in the center. Several windows dot the upper floors, all darkened. the single violin note sounds again, this time accompanied by a chord of piano notes. The air begins to grow cold.

Svagema bristles, knowing this is most likely a trap, but still mounts the porch and goes to the door.

Svagema stands before the doors. Upon closer inspection, they have a very familiar engraving upon them.

Svagema examines the engraving, opening one slightly to get rid of any glare from the sun.
