Ël'rinal Vëannë'aedin - Aerywyn

Name: Ël'rinal Vëannë'aedin

Alias: Consort to the Queen, Knight of Lilies

Class: Consort; Speardancer

Appearance: With an imposing yet graceful frame, the consort to the Queen Vëannë is a great warrior even by the mythical standards of the Lalaith. He is 6'6", with vibrant cherry-blonde hair hanging to his shoulder blades, and unnaturally keen blue-green speckled eyes beneath an open helm inlaid with gold and silver lilies. The rest of his plate armour is similiarly decorated, although the centre of his his chest plate holds a magical ruby in the shape of a rose. His cloak is a light green, emblazoned with a spear, entwined with a lily and a rose that symbolises his position as the Queen's Consort.

Fighting Style: Favouring the spear and shield over the sword, Ël’rinal uses his natural agility to move swiftly in his light-weight armour and prefers to tire his opponents with numerous small wounds before the coup de grace, much like a hunter. However his shield and form is large enough that he can fight on equal ground with many of the heavier types of warriors.

Chivalry can unfortunately be his downfall at times.

Abilities/Skills: Nothing out of the ordinary, though Ël’rinal is truly an exceptional fighter and a great leader of men.

Items/Artifacts:

Kirntaí, Spear of Flowers
Gleaming in the sunlight, the spear of the Ël’rinal is an artifact from the division of the Lalaith and first exile of the Vëannë’aedin. It is taller than it’s wielder by an extra two feet, and the haft is unbreakable, being made of petrified wood taken from the grove of Kar’Kaish high in the central mountains of Ara’niel. Wrought in a variation of the leaf design, the head of Kirntaí was fashioned very long, with both thrusting and slashing in mind.

Auralniah, Vëannë's Heart
A gift from the lady Vëannë herself, the small ruby was cut by the Queen herself into the shape of a rose and given to Ël’rinal as a charm. He had it inlaid into his armour so he could display it to all, but it can be removed and he wears it as an earring most of the time. The gem holds within itself the love of the Queen, and apart of her powers have been bestowed upon the ruby so to slow any bleeding and to speed up the healing process of the body.

History: To be processed at a later date (it is intertwined with some other things).

So, is this your extra character, or an NPC? Also, I noticed you used 'Veanne'. Does this guy relate to Aerywyn in some way?

It was a bit of lore I did originally before this, and El'rinal and Aerywyn are two of my constant characters.

Veanne means "Tear" in the tongue of the Lalaith, who are an ancient, fey race tied to the Kingdom of the Mearc (originally it was Althalas). As things happen, the Queen of the Veanne'aedin (roughly meaning 'Folk of Tears/Sorrow/Mourning') is funnily enough Veanne. Considering they were one of the first races, they're a bit loose with their use of words and names. The sword Veanne was forged for Aerywyn, since it was a common but thoughtful name for a weapon (especially one in Aerywyn's situation). The girl who was bound in the sword is called by the name Veanne, even if it isn't her real name.

So there's MORE of these sissy grape-licking losers!?!? I thought we killed most of them.

I'm going to get Belial the wolf up next (El'rinal is just a little show thing for later on). That doggy has some serious fucking problems.

Why do you use words like "gracious" that much. Your chars really get bishi over time.

It's a seperate character. Also which words are you referring to? The crazy made up ones or the complicated descriptions?

On a semi related note, who the crap is Belial the wolf, and do I have to fight him in a werewolf battle?

He's Aerywyn's archetypal darker, eviller, bloodthirstier brother sort of thing. Belial's the Vaskiargt whilst Aerywyn is the Vaskiefr. Suppose you take the same situation, for example you are talking with them. In Aerywyn's case he would be cryptic in his reply. Belial however would be gloating over how he just tore out your throat, and then would go into a wild(er) state due to the taste of blodd and transform into a giant white wolf, after which he would go and hunt.

Awesome, werewolf battle.

also its with words like veanne and etc. with those words it makes my head hurt keeping track of stuff happening

I am insane. Nothing is set in stone. Hell, I'd have all my characters fight and would change my mind six times before choosing who would win. I may even have everyone die horribly, or just have one of them lose a few limbs.

Actually, in the end, everyone would know who won or not. Thats kinda the thing about endings, the end things. And when things like fights end the case is usually with one winner and one loser.
