Grotaar Horncrusher - Crom the Conqueror

Name: Grotaar Horncrusher

Class: Savage Knight

Fighting Style: Grotaar combines the strength of a savage beserker and the tenacity of a cunning bladesmen into a single being. He wields his blade by executing powerful and devastating attacks backed by his savage fury but is more than capable of switching back to the defensive in a grace rarely seen. He will eagerly use anything at hand whether it is a stone or his own two hands and is known to combine devastating slashes with powerful punches.

Appearance: A giant black and green skinned Orhal topping just seven and a half feet tall. Grotaar stands proud and tall with little to no slouching and bears himself with an air most often seen in human royalty. He exhibits a sense of total self-control rarely seen among his people. He is clad in the tough brownish scales of a plains drake. These scales cover his chest and legs leaving his arms mostly bare. On his thick wrists lay crudely forged bracers of drake teeth which cover his wrists entirely in the thin layer of bone. His face is set in a harsh and dour expression. His eyes are blue and though not warm they are certainly not unkind.

Items/Artifacts:

Galrauchs Skin: Grotaar fight and slew the dreaded plain drake and was given its reforged scales as a gift in honor of the deed. The armor provides about as much protection as half-mail but is extraordinarily light.

Grak'nathal: Gifted to him by the spirits of the plain this sword is far from the weapon of choice for most orcs . It has taken Grotaar considerable time to get used to. The blade seems to never stain and while heavy for a human the weight seems perfect to the Orhal. In the presence of foul powers the blade seems to glow with a dusty and unearthly light and increases the endurance and resolve of the bearer significantly.

Horn Bracers: Crafted by Grotaar’s friend and tribe shaman Frostorn the bracers are said to enhance the abilities of any of those plainsmen Touched by the Mother Spirit. Though Grotaar has displayed no such abilities he has kept these bracers for many years in honor of his victory over the plains drake and in memory of his dear friend.

History:

Grotaar grew up among the Plains Hammer tribe. His first battle occurred when he was ambushed by the cruel and savage plain drake Galrauch. Though unarmed he was able to dispatch the creature by prying loose the creature great horn atop its head and then savagely stab the creature to death with it. For this great act he was finally recognized as the son of the chieftain and a great feast of the creature’s innards was held in his honor. Grotaar received several gifts in the form of the Horn Bracers and the knitted armor of Galrauchs skin.

It was not long after that disaster struck. Azhag the Slaughter intent on uniting the various Orhal tribes in order to wage war against the enemies of Al’garak, annihilated the Plains Hammer tribe for refusing to worship his lord as a god. By luck and skill of arms Grotaar managed to escape the destruction of his tribe but was forced to flee into the deepest and most barren regions of the Wastes. Lost, hungry and without water he wandered the Wastes for what felt like days before finally collapsing.

Then one of the desert spirits appeared and spoke to him. Laying a gentle hand upon his shoulder the spirit lifted him up and guided him to a secret oasis. Thinking this no more than a mirage Grotaar struggled little as the spirit stripped him off his weapons and armor and tossed him into the water. There the spirit of the water replenished his strength.

Then he awoke. His armor lay neatly by his side but his weapons and the oasis were nowhere to be found. Instead of an oasis he lay in what appeared to be a tunnel. He chose a path at random, knowing somehow that it didn’t really matter which direction he chose. He walked the tunnel until he came upon a great cavern shadowed in darkness. The only light came from a great fissure in the cave ceiling which aligned directly open a sword. Walking up to where the sword apparently lay abandoned, Grotaar spied an inscription upon the blade. Grak'nathal.

As soon as he picked up the blade however the inscription vanished. When he looked up Grotaar saw the brightly lit exit to the cave. Without a word walked out the tunnel the sword clenched tightly in his right hand.

Well I definitely like this Character Crom, but bear in mind, that if you keep Character hopping like this you'll create marry hell for me and the other members of RP Council (Chaos' words not mine) when we have to connect all the fights with some semblance of a plot.

He's also got demons living in his armor.

I didn't really approve the Character I'm just saying I like the character, and if Chaos approves then its on Prohibition like the others.

You and I could do something quick sometime, for the probation thingy. I'm going to be getting another character up soon anyway.

Don't worry I've already got it figured out Midget. We had planned on doing that Council Mega Battle soon so my character can go there hunting down a rumor that the mages were using orc slaves. I also may or may not also be involved with bronks character depending on if we group up or not after the battle. Also did some more editing.

HEY! Krasht can do math! He just doesn't choose to because he'd rather kill you

In other words:

Doom: Bloodthirsty, empty-mined, killing, slaughtering fanatical maniac.
Crom: Honorable, glorious, and overall good valiant warrior. Being orc doesnt mean youre dumb...

By "can do simple math" I mean if Krasht felt the need to know 27+32 his first reaction would be to count on his finders and toes. The when he ran out on someone else's.
This char could just do it in his head, I'm not saying Krasht is stupid but I am saying he doesn't use any intelligence he might have. This char actually thinks as he fights and so will play much differently than Krasht

The best you can do is just to create a special name. The class just gives you a basic idea of what your up against.
