Arena Battles

Here will be the location where the battles between the Arena Characters will take place.

Arena Assessment Rules are containted here.



Assessment Rules: Assessment of characters go through the evaluation of RP skills, both in and outside of battle.

Assessment is most critically judged on:

Content/Detail (The amount of detail and depth in a post)
Character Closeness (How well you are to post as if the character were a an actual living entity)
In Character (How well you are able to keep the character "In Character", and respond to events as they would)
Character Mortality (Knowledge that a character is mortal and imperfect)
Spelling/Grammar (Self-explanatory)
Use of rules of the Arena




Assessment Lore Rules:

Initially, all assessment Arena Battles are considered non-canon. However, the Arena Battle can still be considered canon through the following ways:

If one character is approved but the other is not, then the approved character can have a canon lore stating they fought someone and give vague descriptions to the unapproved character. This can also be refused, so it's strictly up to the Arena participant who's character was approved.

If both/all characters are approved, then both/all will have to decide whether or not to consider their battle canon. If both/all agree, then it is considered canon. If not, it is not.

If neither/no character is approved, then the event is non-canon.






These rules may be broken at any time by members of the RP Council ONLY in the event they have judged such breaking be necessary. These rules are subject to change at any time by any member of the RP Council.

Also, please post here when you are ready to have an arena battle evaluated, or for the RP council to review an arena battle for rule infringement.

Make it non-canon
Torin's backstory requires that his first "canon" appearance is him heavily injured(near-dead then healed just enough to be able to walk) and alone, which is how I plan to start him in the event.
So this either happens at some unspecified time after the event (presuming our characters never meet in said event, which is kinda...not likely) or this is non-canon

k so our battles from event onwards will be canon? agreed?

Thats up to whoever par takes in said battle.

Once again here's how it's going to break down
IF event is canon then all my fights previous to event are non-canon, if it isn't canon then A) I want to hear about it and B) they may or may not be canon but are certainly out of chronological order

...do you mean notice of addition?
which would mean that you added something into one of you earlier posts, as opposed to edition, which would mean there was another version or a sequentially separate piece somewhere.

More like the word "edit", with the suffix "tion", which causes the common noun form of an action , such as Creation, Mechanation, Locomotion, Location. I should've worded it a tad differently though. =P
